AARON LINES RECEIVES SOCAN AWARD
The 19th Annual SOCAN Awards Gala took place Nov.
17 at the Carlu in Toronto, ON Canada celebrating the wide ranging success of
Canada's music creators over the past year.
In the Country Music Category ... AARON LINES was
honored along with his co-writers, Jessica Maros and Chris Lindsey, for
their smash #1 hit single "CHEAPER TO KEEP
HER" which achieved the greatest number of
performances on domestic radio during 2007!!!

AARON LINES RECEIVES AWARD NOMINATIONS
The 6th Annual Western Canadian
Music Award Nominations were announced this morning, Thursday July 31, in
Edmonton Alberta. The WCMAs honour the outstanding achievements of the regions
recording artists as well as people behind
the scenes. Genres range from Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical to Country and
everything in between.
AARON LINES has been recognized for his
outstanding achievements over the past year by being nominated in two categories
….
OUTSTANDING COUNTRY
RECORDING for “MOMENTS THAT MATTER”
SONGWRITER OF THE
YEAR for “MOMENTS THAT MATTER”.
The 6th Annual Western Canadian Music Awards
will be held in Edmonton, AB – October 16th to October 19th, 2008, and promises
to be an exciting event of national and international significance.
Centrally located and close
to all the festival venues The Coast Edmonton Plaza will be the
host hotel, with all conference activities and the Industry
Awards taking place there.
The Western Canadian Music
Awards Gala will be held on Sunday, October 19th, 2008.
Twenty-one awards will be handed out, celebrating the depth and
talent of Canada’s western artists.
